cheap k&n's
hey anybody know the place with the cheapest prices on k&n's? lookin for a 14X3 filter.. i also need a 2 inch carb spacer for a 650 dp.. any ideas?

In fact, both Hot Rod and Car Craft did dyno tests in 2002 checking out all the high flowing air filters and found they have no hp advantage over stock paper filters. They just last a lot longer.
It is when you replace entire aircleaner assemblies, like using the K&N FIPK system on a new Camaro or Corvette, that you get hp gains. But that was simply because the factory housings were restrictive, not the filters.

i had a k&n on my 305, ever since i sold that off and put in the 355 i use nothing but stp paper air filters, it costs a little under $4 and there was no decrease from using a k&n on loan from a friend. unless your filter is caked with dirt, i doubt you'll see any gains at all from filters, look elsewhere
