vortec question

Im looking to buy a 87 350 block. im also looking to bolt vortec heads to the it, which means new intake system. I wanted to ask if i could just bolt on a non fuel injected setup with just a vortec manifold and carb instead of the awfully more expensive tpi setup

Yes. You just have to deal with the fuel pump issue, that's all.

fuel injected cars have a high PSI fuel pump. You'll need a return style fuel pressure regulator to bump your fuel pressure down to like 6psi.

Mallory makes them and you can get them from summit and jegs for around 70 bucks. :lala:
