serpentine belt

anyone know how to route the serpentine belt when taking out a/c and smog pump?

i have an 89 gta 350 tpi

i already knew about that, but i'm deleting the air conditioning now too, and already deleted the smog pump.

You can't remove the compressor unless you buy an aftermarket braket that lets you swap the alternator to the other side. If you remove it you need to put something in its place. I'm gonna go with an A/C delete pulley as soon as I can find one.

Wouldn't the belt's ribs wear out quicker from riding on the tensioner like that?? I've never seen that setup before.

wheres your hood? looks kinda cloudy out from the reflection on your air cleaner, might want to put that hood back on

Yeah, I moved the car outside to wash it. Those were taken while I was polishing the paint. The hood is in the process of getting a 4" cowl grafted on.
