There are other options. You could just have 1.94 valves put in your 305 heads. The machining to put them in and unshroud them would probably put them up at 62 cc. Also World Products have stock replacements for around 5 or 6 hundred. I think there are Iron Eagles with close to stock size 170 cc intake runners and 64 cc chambers. Ebay has tons of deals on heads.

I e-mailed you about them already. Unfortunatley you said that i had to wait until e-bay. As far as the 305 heads, they are actually smogger 350 heads and no ammount of machineing is going to make them flow as smoothe as an L98 head. All i am really looking for is a stock or rebuilt head. It doesnt matter what condition as long as it doesnt smoke. As i said i am really desperate. Anyone have any 64cc heads with 2.02 vaulves?

I assumed you had a 305 by your sig, so I thought maybe you where replacing that. These may be L98 heads here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33617 This shop is also selling some 305 081 castings. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33617

It's too bad you have this uninformed preconceived notion about 305 heads.
If course if you're getting sick of your ever raising storage bill,
and are willing to open your eyes a bit, You may just discover that a set of modded 305 HO/TPI heads are your best option to get
the performance your looking for and at a price you can afford.

And get your car out of hawk.

I have ported and flow tested 4 sets of these heads.
All of them out performed L-98 heads...both cast iron and alumium. All of them. And not by just a little bit.

If your car has centerbolt valve covers look for a set of 081's
If your car has perimeter covers look for 416's.
Port them completly and have 1.94x 1.60 intake valves
installed .

The 081 ports are no different than the 083 L98 head
except that the valves are smaller. And the combustion chamber is smaller.

Once you've sweeped out the chamber walls for the larger valves
they will be 60/61cc's. Just right.

Or just keep your head in the sand.

Look dude i dont have time or $$ to get them machined and have race valves put in, If i had the time i am sure it would make a fun project. But my mechanic said 64cc other wise i am going to have to run high octaine and in case you didnt notice gas prices are crazy! I have several offers on L98 heads, All i was going to do was polish the chambers get the valves re seated and then slap them on.

mileage would depend on the particular car they came from....as far as what comes with the heads, you'd have to call them and ask

thants dan opperman is real bad news he got me too and a couple others last year, I was going to pay him a visit at home but, lost his address. If you got it please e-mail it to me. and did he sell them on here? if so we should have him banned. I called the police but, they said it was a civil matter and I would have to take him to small claims court. well lucky him I lost his address because I only live 1 1/2 hours from him
