Hello everyone, I'm only 18 and I have little experience with actually building up an engine. I don't mind doing maintenence and little things, but the most I've ever done is an engine swap and I've torn down one engine. The fact is I want to build up an engine and have no idea how to get the bottom end in right with the rods, bearing, crank, etc. Anyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I could get a stout short block set up for a hydralic roller cam. I want to put AFR 190's and a hot cam, and don't think my stock l98 will handle it...am I wrong? If not that would be ideal. Any advice would be helpful.

 

Your stock L98 should work fine if its in good shape.

 

Thanks...now I don't have to go waste 1k on a shortblock.
