I really like the Dart Iron Eagles. My buddy has them on his 327 and hes pushing 450+ at the wheels.

Yeah, for the price I'd say Vortecs are the best.

nah cuz whenever you get vortecs..... you have to buy the right intake with the vortec pattern so that is always added into the cost..... for the money... Iron Eagles are Deffinitely the best bang for your buck.

I'm gonna have to agree. Vortecs aren't always the best choice unless you can get a good deal on them. Once bought you'll need to have them machined for screw-in studs and probably bigger valve springs. After the cost of the heads, the machine work, and the intake you'll have saved up nearly enough money to buy a good set of aftermarket heads such as the Dart Iron Eagles.

I dont see anyone mentioning AFR heads...

Is it because they cost too much to be relative to this topic? I was under the impression that these are some of the best heads you can buy, although expensive but im just curious as to which ones are the best NOT concidering price...

Yeah, if not a budget oriented build up I would definately go AFR, but you can get some decent heads for a lot cheaper if you are on a tighter budget.
