hooker shorty headers, and cut to lenght MSD 8.8 mm plug wires.

What boots will give the best/most clearance w/o having probs with touching the headers?

MSD's multi-angle boots or 90 degree boots?

BTW if it matters the car is a 88 camaro, 71 350, 65 327 heads

90 deg boots seem to work best with any headers.

 

I use 90° with my Hooker shorties. Steer clear of the multi-angle cause there huge...
I still use boot sleeves, cause even with 90°'s it's close...

I use a mix, some places 90's fit better, other the straight mulita-angle, fit better.

 

Could you tell me where to get those and if they fit all wire boots?

For anyones info the GM P/N is 12163646 and cost about $2.00 ea
Installed them on my plug boots with SLP headers. This should solve the burnt boot problem for me. Thanks for the heads up Vader on the posted picture & info.
