Went to the Junk yard and saw something interesting

It was a complete engine and tranny from a 99 Vette. Could this fit into my 83 Berlinetta? If so what what would i need to make it work? Also just incase it doesnt work, Where can i find a duel snorkel air cleaner? also would i hve to change my air filter size or is it the same?

Im guessing it will fit, be dont have anything to back that up.

You can get a dual snorkel from GM for about $250 i think, but keep looking at junkyards, or some people on here might have one lying around. Look in the classifieds.

the engine and trans from a 99 vette would require a ton of work since the trans is mounted to the torque tube and is in back bolted to the differential. it will fit, but your better off getting a camaro set up.

There's a guy on the net who calls himslef IROCZ Dave. He sells used thirdgen parts. I got one from him for less than $90 shipped. It was in pretty good shape. I'd give you the address but I lost when my hard drive got wiped.

I'm not sure but I think he was somewhere on aol. Good luck finding his site.

I've got a Dual Snorkle intake I bought new from GM last year. I've only used it for a few months, it looks brand new. I'm switching to TPI next year and will be selling it then........

when you say dual snorkle do you mean the old fashioned carb type, or the tpi dual filter type?
