oil viscosity vs oil pressure
oil viscosity vs oil pressure
I'm running mobil 1 5w30 in my 92 305 tbi with 99,000 miles on her. I can't seem to get any more than 15 psi of oil pressure at idle once warmed up. What effect will putting a thicker oil such as 10w30 in my engine have on oil presure?

Yeah, what he said.....plus I don't think 15 PSI at idle is too bad. On a hot day-engine fully warmed up....sounds OK to me??
