new slave cylinder question

i just put in a new slave cylinder for my clutch, but the pedal still shows little resistance. can i cut the tiewrap myself, or does it need to be broken itself. could there be another problem? how will i know if the master cylinder is bad?

I am not aware of your other posts so from the start did you bleed the system a gain? it may take some time to get all the air out of the new slave.

how exactly do i bleed the system? maybe i am doing it wrong. my clutch pedal had no resistance and i found the slave to be damaged so i replaced it and at first couldn't get the tiewrap to pop off. but the alan screw just wasn't tightend enough, and when i pressed the pedal again it had resistance and then it made a pop noise and the resistance was gone again. please help

make sure you have every thing connected.(bolted to the bell housing) strap cut off you can leave the plastic tip on just have the plasic straps cut. then have the resivor full well up to its fill line then have one person slowely push down on the pedal and you open the bleader screw when they get the pedal to the floor have them hold it till you get the alen screw tight.(not over tighten it is a plastic case and will strip quite easy.)then tell them to release and keep repeating till it has no more air coming out your end. (check the resivor several times)
