my camaro

well here it is.. heres my 86 sport coupe berlinetta (however thats spelt).. got it free from my uncle, its got the 2.8L v6 in it. 100k miles on the car, 39k on the new engine. the 39k are highway miles, he had to commute 20 miles to work everyday... so would you guys say the engine is pretty clean? Or does it look like a piece of poo?

hmm i guess it would be good to post the picture

It looks fine, just has a lot of dust/road dirt on it. nothing a good washing wouldn't cure.

it would cost you exactly the amount it would cost to pull a motor, clean it up with degreaser and shoot it with rattle can motor paint. more time then money. way not worth it on a v6 that wouldn't put out the power of the way it looked. that's why i swapped my v8. totally wouldn't suggest doing that though...way to much work involved.

looks terrible, but does happen to look like a good place the 3.4 i have laying around as well as excessive valvetrain parts i bought for it. not sure if this post passes the tech only post by the moderator or not though, apperance of an engine isn't very tech.

there are quite a few topics about engine dress up, normally it's in the appearance board but i don't see any reason for it to not be in here as well.
