You can get one from SLP or get a locker from Summit called the Powertrax locker. With basic tools you can install it yourself in a couple hours in the driveway. that will give you the lockup on both tires you need.
Both lockers are very good.

Since you have a 92 with 28 spline axles, you just need the take-off posi unit from SLP. You will also need 3.23, 3.42 or 3.73 gears, and you will have to change the speedo gears in the trans to fix your speedometer. Do you have an automatic or a stick? 3.23 or 3.42's are nice.

Now if I already have 3.42's and just want a posi rear, would it be necessary to screw with the speedo gears in the tranny?

Try and pick up a fourth gen rear from a wrecking yard. The site even has a tech article about it if your interested.

No, its not necessary to fix your speedo gears, but it will read wrong until you.

If you have 3.42 gears and are putting in a posi with 3.42 gears, then you're ok.

All TBI RS's have 2.73 open rear for automatic, and 3.08 open rear for sticks.

So, To answer my question. I need to reaplce the Diferntial[sp] and my rear end gears, and the tranny gears, so the speedo reads correctly? and the 3.42 gears are recommended?
