What AFPR do u guys think is the best??
I bought the Accell one for 65 bucks through Summit, and it uses the existing AFPR..But Vaders link is very cool. I would go that route.

I hear the Crane one is the only one to stay away from, because the adjustment screw hits the plenum.

Accel or maybe even Holleys new 1. I've tried Hypertechs and Cranes which is all the same thing and they suck big time! Crane's hits the plenum and the other 1s adjustment screw had bent under the cover. Accels is real sturdy and uses an allen key 2 adjust.

Have TPIS and have no complaints whatsoever.

I sure hope this is a worthy mod..it looks like a pain in the *** to install dealing with all the o-ring replacing and such..Is it really as annoyong as Haynes makes it look?

I've got the Crane unit and the bolt did hit the plenum. Went to Lowes and for 6 cents I had a bolt that worked. Even with the added money from the extra bolt, I believe the Crane is still the cheapest other than homemade.

I've got the accel one and no matter what I do with the screw, my fuel pressure stays between 45-47psi. The screw will also come into contact with the plenum if you unscrew it a bit. I've got a new FPR to install to see if I can get more or less than 45-47psi because I'm not sure why it won't deviate.

I have the holley one waiting to be put in. I only paid like $60 for it on carpartsonsale.com. It is going to be real easy to adjust it to because the whole top spins.

Yarnboy...this is not a difficult mod at all. All you have to do is remove the TB and plenum. All you are really replacing is the "hat" to the FPR. It should come with a new gasket and that's really it. The internalls to the FPR are re-used and put into the new hat. The Haynes manual always makes it seem more difficult than it is.
It's easy, trust me.

Ron, this is the problem I have been frequently hearing about the TPIS AFPR. I have yet to have problems, but I have heard of a lot of people having the same problem as you. So people, you have been warned!! lol

You need to have Adobe Acrobat REader installed to open the files.
Later,
