just some pics. I realised there aren't any decent pics of LT1 intakes on engines. So I decided to take a few.

Dang man, before you go any farther, roll that car out of the garage and SOAK your engine with GUNK engine cleaner....And use a scrub brush for cryin out loud.
I'm sure we can rig up some kind of mount for the T-stat housing.
I'm sure we can rig up some kind of mount for the T-stat housing. your swapping the water pumps also right. Serpentines use reverse flow styles. Are you putting the a/c back in, since texas tends to be a little of a warm climate?
The engine bay just needs cleaned and organized really after your done that. On my GTA I'm im removing all the heater hoses that i don't need. That cleans up the bay alot, even with removing the control valve thats over the valve cover. It helped a bunch in my firebirds engine bay, and to popular opinions, that doesn't blow hot air constantly out of my vents. ...
BTW, what ever happened to your camaro? Did you sell it or loose interest in it like i did with mine.

The AC in his car never worked to begin with
But yea, he's installing it, probably mostly due to his girlfriends whining
Do you have any pics of the heater control valve relocation? I'd like to do that when the new engine goes in....

I didnt relocate the valve, i just removed it completely after it exploded on me one night. Im doing it to my gta right now also. Heres a pic of the bypass.

Water pump straight to the heater core, and manifold straight to the core. I think the valve shuts off water to the core when you have the A/C on. But I hate it cause it looks like a stupid mushroom covering my valve cover.
