Does every ones l98 do this?

Probably a dumb question, but my GTA is the only l98 car I've ever driven,so..
Does everyones l98 pull really hard after 3,000rpm? I was under the impression that they pulled hard from 2K till around 4500rpm
not just above 3,000rpm.

Yeah its normal. My 305 pulls real hard from off the line and especially around 3 grand to about 4400 or so the 350 should be pulling hard to about 5 grand.

well for starters the pull you feel is the torque peaking. that is what brakes things like..... TRACTION!!!! the more you have the more of a pull you feel and you can showoff to your passager. the longer you have that pull the more mean or average torque you have in the powerband!

LOL at Jim

My car pulls hard from about 2800 rpm to 4800 rpm. That's just the way a TPI's power band is.
