Please help me get my CC timing setup!
Ok heres the deal...
Pulled out original 305 motor, 89 RS. the wiring harness for the ECM had a ton of sensor wires and all that stuff on it, And i will be using the commander 950 so i just cut them all off and pulled them out.
now heres the problem. I want to use the commander 950 to control my timing. no big deal, I have the CC distributor that came with the car, and it plugs in no problems.
The problem comes in where... I dont know how to turn it "on". I see my coil has 4 wires coming out of it... 2 wires per "clip". One of those "clips" goes to the distributor... but the other one I have no idea where to wire it up to
And on the distributor there are 2 places for plugs, one goes to the coil. I assume the other goes to my commander 950...
So how the heck do I get this ignition to turn "on"?
and on a side note, my A/C compressor has 2 wires coming out of it. i assume i wire those to a on/off switch (12v + G) to turn the a/c on?
