more wiring questions
I have more random wires that i don't know where they go. Please help.
The blue circle contains an orange wire and a yellow wire.
The yellow circle contains a gray wire and a black with purple stripe wire
The red circle contains a black wire and a purple with black stripe wire.
Where do these wires conncect to? Also what wire connects to the nipple shaped sensor on driver side of the block just below the head? Also i have a wire that is on the same harness as the two A/C wires, i have it labeled as going on the front of the engine, where does this wire go? the power steering pump maybe?
thanks again
JP

I now found the correct location of the wire in the blue circle, it connects to the back of engine near the tranny on the driver side. I'm getting close now, i can't wait to hear this thing fire up.

ok, it turns out my loose wire connects to that nipple shaped sensor (coolant temp sending unit). So now I only have to locate the connector for the yellow circled wire. Can anyone help? I feel like i'm talking to myself
if i had the time, id go out in the book trailer and get a 85+ shop manual and look for you, but i dont have the time, and its late
if you cant find it tomorrow, pm me and ill see if i can find a shop manual with the wiring diagrams and tell ya...

Red circled connector goes to the MAT sensor on the under side of the plenum.
Yellow goes to the EGR solinoid. Back corner, passenger side of intake.
The blue one looks like an injector connector no? That goes to the cold start valve (9th injector).

Hmmm That one has me kinda of stumped. The plug itself is just like the one for the EGR solinoid right?? It is two cylinders shaped things? How long is the wire itself??? Like if you pull it up can it go to the front of the engine compartment?? Or is it stuck right there kinda?

Right, two cylinders just like the egr solinoid. Its not gonna get much further forward than that, it could prolly drop striaght down near the bottom of the engine though. I thought maybe it hooked into the fuel pressure regulator, but there aren't any plugs in it.

Yes both distributor plugs are in, right, i couldn't find that combo anywhere else either. I guess if i don't find this location soon i will just start it up and see what happens.
Correction: under closer inspection, the wire is prolly pink with balck stripe not purple with black stripe

Hmm I checked all year of TPI using MAF and can't seem to find that combo... do you have Cruise? I am wondering if that is what it may be??? Anyone else have an idea???
Well Yeah put it together and see if you seem to have all sensor plugged in. See if she starts up I guess. but I would try to researcn it a bit more, just to be safe. I can't really compare my TPI system as it is 89 and the wiring is completely different colour wise.
BTW sharp car!!! I just checked out your cardomain quickly.

Hey I am here to help, and I enjoy doing it. yeah hopefully I can find it on my buds car, but hopefully someone else may know what it is before then so you dont' have to wait
ok i see a black and black/pink combo that could go to the throttle kicker relay (whatever that is) you might check over by your relays on the drivers side firewall for one without a plug or another plug that would go into that one... (mahybe it is hiding down behind the brake booster?)
