Stolen 1988 IROC

sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

My '88 IROC was stolen yesterday a few hours before the blackout. VIN# is:

1G1FP2189JL174597

NY registration CJS1775

Black/grey, 5.7, 700R4, 16" alloys, t-tops, disk rears, leather, power seat/windows,rear hatch lock, flowmaster, K&N filters, Yokahamas.

Carle Place, NY (Nassau County/Long Island)

description of perp: 40-45, white, bald, heavy build .

He was kind enough to leave a stolen Olds ****box in my parking spot, with the ignition punched out and the engine running.

The t-tops were in my garage when the car was taken. Steering wheel was locked w/ "The Club". I left the car fifty feet from the door of the store where I work, lots of people around but nobody realized what was going on. One guy saw the perp parking the Olds, we put it together later.

never leave your car unattented with t-tops off.

Did you have an alarm?

sorry to hear that?

Man that sucks. Makes me glad I live in a crime free small town. I don't have to worry about locking my car or worry when I leave it running outside. Sorry to hear man.

BTW what in the hell caused that blackout?!?!?!

Good luck in your hunt. One thing in your favor is that ThridGens are becoming less common and more obvious when cruising along the roadways.

So much for "The Club". I said before that they weren't very effective. I've got a long story about those.

The club should only be used to beat potential car-thief's.

Go to google and do a search. It's a waste of money.
