Holley Stealth Ram Questions

A few questions on using a steatlh ram...

Using Holley #7540 will a TPI intake fit on the stealth ram or do I have to use an LT1 intake. If I have to use the LT1 intake, is the TPI ECM and wiring harness compatible?

Also, will any GM fuel rails or/and injectors work with the stealth ram?

I could be wrong, being that I'm not interested in the HSR, but I think it's a complete intake by itself...i/e you wouldn't be using the TPI's original runners, intake or plenum.

have you tried a search on it? I recall a "HSR Sticky" thread, that was posted by a moderator...should tell ya all ya need to know.

I juts clicked on your link...

What you're pitcuring is what would be equivilant to lower base/runners/plenum assy on a stock TPI setup.

From there you'd need a TB, rails, injectors, etc...to make to work...do a search, all the info you seek is posted in one thread...I think with part numbers as well.

It's best to use Holleys fuel rail, made for the intake. GM injectors, & throttle body do work . Fuel line will need some modifing. I used steel line, with GM ends silver soldered to mate with my stock lines. When I sell the car the HSR will be for sell separately.

click the green banner and most answers will be revealed.

the HSR is a stand alone intake. it replaces the stock plenum, runners, and base.

you cannot use the stock fuel rails. yes you can reuse your injectors.

yes the stock ECM and harness will work.

Done multiple searches before I posted. I always do.

So there is no way I can use GM fuel rails? I don't really want to pay 200+ dollars for a fuel rail.

as stated in the FAQ section over at www.stealthram.com , no. will not fit. nno way, no how. regulator housing hits the runners and not wide enough. look at the cost to swap section over there also. i created www.stealthram.com to answer these types of questions.

Not so worried about the regulator, I think I can figure something out. Will LT1 Fuel rails fit?

you'll have to figure a way to tie the 2 rails together to get fuel to both of them. and get them bolted down to hold the injectors into bosses. can't just let them freehang. the vibrations will pop out the injectors. you'll spend many hours trying to find something to work. plus cost of materials. now how much is your time worth to you? it's nice to be different and innovative. but time is money.
