If I ran 110 octane in my stock LG4, would it hurt anything? thanks in advance.

its entirely unneccessary. setting the timing on the vehicle so it has the most power/performance (you can determine this by altering the timing and watching the effect on ET or on a dyno) and then run the lowest octane you can without the motor detonating. this will give you the most performance. 110 octane in a motor that doesnt need it is a complete waste of money.

Hes dead on right, 110 is unnessecary. 89 is probably the highest you need. I run 87, but it don't give me great gas mileage. I'm going to go to 89, if it don't help, I got a fuel pump failure.

Oh yea, edited to add, but 110 octane is leaded gas I believe. You run leaded, you will kill your emissions equipment, which isn't a bad thing if you can get by without it. Probably knock your o2 out of wack too.

you can get it with or with out lead, high lead, low lead ect. but, as you can guess the price is very high with out lead and low lead and also very very hard to find. if you go to sights like turbo blue and other similar makers they all seem to have differant oct. for each of the lead and none lead styles. like they said above it will give you nothing just problems

for a stock LG4...none. might even make you slower cause it doesnt burn as complete as 87 or 89.

you'd slow down in because it's harder to light, octane has nothing to do with power produced
