compression test sucked!!!!

compression test sucked!!!!

well i just finished the compression test and all of the cylidars are between 110 and 125 psi. seems to low. what do you all think, go for the 350 build?

Did you do the test while holding the throttle wide open? That is the proper way.

And don't forget to remove all the spark plugs, not just the cylinder you're checking.

besides making sure you ran the test correctly the numbers don't mean that much the big thing is they all are within 10% or so. 125 isn't bad

ya, we took the engine apart, and i dont think it is worth it to replace the head gaskets, and all of the other gaskets, might as well as build the 350 up. by the way, carb was off the engine and wouldnt most people think to take the plugs out?
