There is a ton of good info and pics on this site on porting these
heads.

Search my posts and others here.

There are books on preparing chevy cylinder heads.
All of it is relevent to 305 heads too.

David Vizard's "How to build Chevy small blocks on a budget" is
a good one.

There will be a test.......

they have 58cc chambers (i think), so you might get a fairly high compression ratio, unless that's what your looking for

lookin to get about 10 or 11:1 compression with the cam i puttin in there which i'm hoping is to put in a crane powermax 238/246 duration@.050 and a gross lift of .480/.495 and i think the engine is going to have to be bored out 3 over so i was wanting to put in some speed pro alluminum alloy with the teflon skirts pistons with the flat top 4 reliefs pressed pin...also..anyone that has ported and polished these heads, what was the max intake and exhaust you could port them out too?

Nope, 58cc.

I dont think there has been a 62cc head since the 327's of the 1960s.
