1990 IROC-Z 5.7 engine#s?
I recently aquired another 1990 IROC-Z It is a hardtop 5.7TPI. It has relatively high mileage. But while changing the oil I looked inside of the engine where the oil fill is and it is so clean it appears almost new. Crate motor?
The only numbers I could find today are V0920 (no VIN number) stamped on the engine block machined deck pad on the right front, and cyl head casting #s 14101083 with T140 below it.
Can anyone help out with these numers?

Engine: 454ci, 6.1 Hemi
Transmission: TH350, A5
Axle/Gears: 2.73 posi, 3.06 posi
083 heads sounds right for a 350 TPI motor, and I think a crate engine would have nothing written into the machined pad above the pass. side water pump.

Upon further detailed investigation I have found that the car does in fact have the original engine. It is a one owner car, and he sure must have taken very good care of it.
