deciphering main cap P/N's

I'm starting to go through the parts for my disassembled 350 engine that I've had sitting around for a couple years. When I took it apart, I didn't know that they wear in a specific pattern and I didn't label them.

They all look identical to me, but they have 3 different part numbers which I'm hoping will tell them apart. They are 752, 764, and 806. Anyone know which goes where?

Other than that, the mains are straight and alligned, but if I can't get a correct order on these I'll probably need to have the ends on the caps and the webbing milled, and then have the mains allign bored. Which of course is more money that I could put somewhere else in the motor...

as far as i know there isn't. however if i were wanting to not go to the trouble or expense of alighn boring i'd bolt the caps up and checl the diameter and out of round with a bore gauge and check how close thay all are to each other with a straight edge, .001-.0015 is acceptable. i wouldn't risk it since most likely you'll have the block in the shop anyway.

According to their website, they are wanting to charge me $250 for the align bore. Is that pretty a fair price for that job? I'll spec em like you said and see if they are far enough apart where I can tell what goes where. If that doesn't get me anywhere, I'll have them machine it.
