Oil pan,how difficult?

I´ve put in a new cam, and I´m going to change to one piece pan seal now when I have the pan a little ``loose``

the pan doesn't matter. there is a seal adapter (or what ever it's called) bolted to the back of the block that the seal sits in ,what you need to do is drop the trans to change the one piece oil seal.

You are refering to the one piece rubber gasket for the oil pan I believe. You will have to remove the starter and oil filter. The rest is just getting the oil pan bolts out. It's pretty simple to do. The pan will drop down, but getting the gasket on there will be tough because you'll have to go under the crank which will still be inside the pan because the pan won't be low enough. You should jack the engine up some to get the pan low enough to slide the seal under the crank.

Ede, no problem man, I understand you went
for the difficult one.
Birmass thanks for your answer, yes I was
fearing that the oil pan wouldn´t want to come out easy, well well I have bought the
one piece gasket and I have to do it, its
a dirty jobb but........ .Now if I´d dare
to buy a better pan now and put on it that
would be something but the budget its tight.
