Not unless it 's a Vett engine or a crate replacment.

my friend has a 91 Vette L98 on the stand and it is a 2 bolt. I've never heard of any 4 bolt vette L98s...

suspose to be 4 bolt l98 in vetts. 2 or 4 bolt doesn't amker a lot of differance and a 2 bolt can be converted

yip, and a splayed 4 bolt is a lot stronger than a conventional 4 bolt.

One last time. Most Corvette L98 cars did have 4 bolts. But NO!! And I mean NO!!!! Fbody car with a L98 came factory with a 4bolt. Ever! The only way an Fbody car got a 4 bolt, is if the engine has been changed to a 4 bolt.

Oh yes... like I said most Vette L98's were infact 4 bolts, and some did have 2. All in all though most were 4 bolt. I have looked it over very well both at work, and through all the parts data and our GM service programs etc.

Ya know what. It really doesn't matter what car, truck or van the engine came out of. The only way to find out if the engine is a 4 bolt main is to.....

PULL OFF THE OIL PAN AND LOOK!!!

All the "could be" and "should be" and "will be" comments don't tell you a damn thing.

Really??? Well I am sitting at my Computer at a GM dealership as I type this. Two bolt for the Fbody, and mostly 4 bolt for the Vette. I guess GM is wrong?? Oh well.

I did a bit more research, and I may stand corrected on the fact of the Vettes mostly having a 4 bolt. Because after 1984 the only real GM vehicle that infact came with a 4bolt from GM were 3/4 ton or bigger Trucks and vans. This is right from GM themselves.
