Anyone know the flow specs on stock Torquer S/R's?

I know they flow alot better than stock 305 heads and alot of stock 350 heads but worse than the vortecs which flow like 225cfm intake and 17? exhaust. Anyone, thanks.

Hey R.O.B., where did you get those flow numbers? Do you know what the pressure drop was?

Hell the Corvette aluminum L98 heads flow better than that and will fit a 305! Especially on the exhaust.

Gees that's not as good as I thought, I figured at leat 210intake and 140 exhaust. I need to get in touch with a good Machinist who can port these heads with 2.02intakes/1.6exhaust for use on a 350. Anyone know of one?

I went to the site and the flow is listed as 225intake and 170cfm exhaust for S/R torquers. But mine are 58cc chambers not 67cc like the ones listed.

Some outfits will sell them pocket ported and/or gasket matched. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding someone to do it.

Oh, do you already have some S/R 305's, and want to put them on a 350? Might also need to do some valve unshrouding with 2.02's, which will increase chamber volume. Also consider 2.00 intakes (at least that's what some Vette people do). Or, just get different heads, intended for a 350.

From my inquiries, it appears the 305's are the S/R design, but they charge the S/R Torquer price for them. I plan on putting my die grinder to work (sweat equity) when my 305's arrive.

One problem with the aluminum Vette heads is no exhaust crossover, therefore no EGR.
