I am plugging in the right connector?

I'm putting my engine back together 89 350 TPI and seem to have the MAT sensor wire plugged in there and then that wire goes to the ignition or something. Its only like a 14 in wire between the 2 connectors and I cant seem to find another connector laying around in the bay anywhere. Do I have the right spot?

well, it's been a while but I believe the connection is near the right rear corner of the motor. if not, it's on the left rear corner. should be obvious
