Engine: 350 carb
Transmission: TH-700-R4
intake gasket sealing

I am about to seal up my carbed 350 with new gaskets on the intake, and wondering how much sealant to use??? and u just use sealant on the engine side of the gasket and not the intake right???

I use High tack on both sides. Just brush on enough to cover the gasket.

coated gasket between two machined surfaces shouldn't need sealer. you might want to use some rtv around the water ports. i like to coat the long gaskets with k&w copper spray.
