Ive been trying to buy new engine mounts for my 85Transam but with no luck.
My GM dealer here has sent me what he says are the correct ones for my car but they are nothing like mine.

Your GM part# is 22188497. Assuming it's a V8. Your guy either looked it up wrong or it's mislabled.

Powermite,
It doesn't look like the ones that the GM dealer gave you are the right ones for a third gen. Heres a link to a post that might help. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=223913
If you are willing to switch to a poly mount "energy suspension, etc...", they can be purchased from any aftermarket supplier "Jegs, Summit Etc...".
As far as the oem style rubber ones I'm not sure, but I don't think you'de have to get them thru GM, I'd think that they could be gotten thru Autozone, Advance Auto, Etc.....
Hope this helps, Bruce

now these are the one they sent.Similar style but the holes dont line up.
The dealer tell me they are correct but i know otherwise,Why is there a slotted hole in the bottom whereas mine uses on of the outside holes, that arent even in the new mount. And even though the top two holes look right they dont line up with the holes on the crossmember
The make on the box is Anchor part#2387

Two choices:
1) Socket, u-joint, extension, ratchet, off-set box-end wrenches, lots of greasy dirt in eyes and up to your elbows, many colorful adjectives. If you've got really small hands, you might be able to get a regular combo box wrench on the nuts (one female member reported being able to do that a while back, even included a pic IIRC).
2) Using spring compressor, drop the a-arms at the bushings. Easy access to mount bolt nuts.
