get a can of PB Blaster, and approach from under the car. Took me a good hour, there are a few stubborn ones. Wear safety glasses unless you want shxt in your eyes (dirt, rust, penetrating fluid, etc)

ive changed spark plugs before but it was on my truck that had an I6 so that was extreamly easy. i put a new cap and rotor on the car the other day and i had a hell of a time figuring out where each wire ran. i also need to put a new fuel filter in. was gonna do it today but decided not to as i didnt have any penitrating oil.

Disconnect battery prior to removing spark plug. Hate for your tool to fall while working removing # 6 or 8 spark plug. Tool may land on the starter causing a small/large mishap.

That happened to me when changing spark plugs on my old blazer w/ a 4.3. Was tightening the #6 spark plug and swung the wrench too far and hit the starter. I hit the hot wire and it wound up shorting out the solenoid and giving me a good zap (I was sweaty at the time)

It's all fun and games until someone gets "zapped" sorry, 86WS6_T/A or worst yet, the tool lands on the starter and brake line.....makes a nice fire...anyone have marshmellows? Oh by the way, I have SLP 1 5/8 and removing/installing plugs are much harder now then with stock headers. Need to get the "special tool" soon.

if i had the money i would get headers but i dont. so ill just have to live with the stock manifolds. so can this be done from the top or is it best to go from the bottom.

Really? i have SLP's and i dont have a problem. just screw them in hand and tighten them with a 5/8" open end wrench. takes a bit of twisting, but tis not that bad.

Some can be done on top and some underneath the car.

I have headers, and i just replaced all my plugs from the top. i took out the Bosch Platinum 2 plugs(shorter) and replaced them with AC Delcos(longer). It wasnt too hard, i used the socket, but i had to use a wrench on the socket. I replaced all 8 from topside.
To be honest with you I dont see much difference between the delcos and the bosch. My camaro actually is running better with the delcos
