Battery Drain/Charging
Choke light goes out when the car is running. I will check the flow across the terminals...voltage right...
I noticed last night that the volt meter was reading a bit higher than normal...13 amps is at 9:00, this guage was reading the next line up...but as I ran the car for 15-20 minutes, starting, restarting, rev...idle...the guage dropped to 13 even.

Sounds normal to me. I work at Tire Kingdom and we have a tester that checks alternator output and the battery, starter, etc...and most cars read 14 to 14.5 volts at a cold idle. 13-15 is probably the normal range. Gotta remember, it takes a minimum of 12 volts to run the car and not drain the battery. So the extra is just to keep the battery charged. The more charged the battery is, the less you'll get out of the alternator, which explains the voltage drop after a little while.
