Please ID two sensors in block

I'm still doing my 395 cu in stroker motor. I bought a ZZ4 block for the stroker. My stock L98 block has two sensors in the block.

One is on the pass side, in front of the starter motor, what is this one?

The second one is on the drivers side of the block, just above the oil filter. It has a long 2 to 3" neck to it. What is this one?

I think that I will buy new sensors for these two, instead of reusing them. After all, they are 17 years old.

TIA.

The first one in front of the starter (directly above the oil pan seal, roughly centered front to back on the block) is your knock sensor... The second one above your oil filter that is about 3-4" long is your oil pressure sending unit (tells the gauge inside)...

water temp sensor for gauge is on drivers side head.
water temp sensor for fan is on passenger side head.
water temp sensor for ECM is in intake manifold.

in the waterjacket on the BLOCK on the passenger side is the knock sensor.

directly above oil filter on rear drivers side on the block is the oil pressure sensor/switch. earlier 3rdgens had 2 oil sending units. one in the same place for the switch, the other is on the rear china wall of the block. looks like a big canister.

Thank you for the replies.

I was inquiring about the two sensors that are located in the block. Mrdude, I do have the second oil pressure unit located in the top side of the rear china wall.

I think that I got the correct answers above.

The sensors in the heads as listed above are correct to the best of my knowledge. The sensor in the drivers side heads between cylinders 1 & 3 is the water temp gauge sensor. I know this for a fact because when that wire did not get hooked up right, I had no water temp on my gauge in the car.

Another question:
The new block is the ZZ4 block, the part number ends in 123 (I think). The block is at the machine shop now, does anyone know if the block is drill and tap for the above mentions sensors in the block???? (I know, I should have checked for this BEFORE I dropped off the block.)

And I assume that I can get equivalent sensors at AutoZone as opposed to buying more expensive sensors at a Chevy dealership.

yes and yes.

its drilled and tapped for the sensors already, and you can buy replacements at autozone
