Aftermarket accesories brackets?
Is anyone here running aftermarket accesories brackets? Im planning on pulling all my A/C and smog stuff this coming weekend, putting in an A/C delete heater box, etc. I could go the easy way and just run an A/C dummy pulley and reroute a new belt but the dummy pulley is ugly as heck and it still takes up room. Id really like to find an aftermarket serpetine system that just goes to my alternator, P.S. pump, water pump, tensioner, and crank. I saw a few March systems but i dont know which one will work on my car and none of them had tensioners as part of the plan. I love tensioners, makes belt changes sooooo easy. Tensioning the belt via the alternator sucks. Anyway, what do you guys think? Anyone have a system that works? Thanks for the info.
on my 87 Iroc (non serpintine) i am just going to put the alt where the A/C was (above ps pump) with some of the brackets i removed from the motor so the whole pass side of the motor will be free and clear of clutter. i used the a/c delete pulley on the Formula and would like to find a way to remove that whole side as well.
don't know if that helps.

Ede, got any pictures or a link for the setup your running? BTW, the link in your sig isnt working correctly. Thanks for the info.
no i don't have any pics. if you look at a moroso catalog they have a pick of them so it'd be the same or close to the same as what i have. jegs might also have a pic of them on an engine in their catalog.

What exactly does this system run? Just the alternator from the crank or does it do the water pump and P.S. pump too?

Try Street and performance.
There are soooooo many options, I'm sure something would work.
March has some nice set-ups too, but if you want my honest opinion, I don't agree with keeping the tensioner. Yes, it's makes life super easy, but are you doing this to make life easy, or to make a bad **** looking engine bay? You can go from the Alt, to the WP, the PS and the crank, and it's TINY compared to what's needed to keep that tensioner.

Ede, sorry about all the questions, but what electric water pump are you running? Do you use it on the street or is it a track car only? I'm very heavily considering running an electric pump. I have a post about it in the cooling section.
