Bought my cam lifter and spring today!!
Hi...i have baught my cam spring and lifter today...and i just want to know if it have any difficulty that can stop me in my installation...i know that i have to remove the intake, the timing cover, the fuel pump....any other thing that i have to know or any hint to do??? and another question...my timing cover does have anny timing mark and i've seen new cover but the timing mark were not on it too...it was in a bag and you can install it yourself...how can i install the timing mark on the timing cover??? i put the first on compression and i put the 0 at the red dot on the balancer???
Thnx guys

You dont have to completely remove it. When i ran a 1 pc timing cover i undid the front bolts and loosened the rear ones. This lets the pan drop enough to remove the cover.

I'd recommned that while you have the timing cover off, you take a grinder to it and grind off that lip so you wont have to drop the oil pan again.
well worth the 30minutes and a few sparks in the eyes
