Cloyes timing chain orientation

I bought a Cloyes timing chain about a year ago and put it in my 305 at 0* but now i do not know which symbol(circle,square,triangle)is the 4* advance or 4* retarded if anyone knows this can they please help, I need this info to put my new 350 together. thankyou

I'd had to go from memory on something like that because if I'm wrong, you'd end up doing the job all over again and you'd hate me for life.

See if Cloyes has a website, or call one of the companies that sells the set, Summit, PAW, etc. to see if one of the guys will pull one of the installation sheets and tell you.

If your local auto parts store(s) sells 'em, try there too.

Hopefully someone that has a sheet handy will look it up for you and post the info you need. I've got one around here somewhere, but I haven't seen mine in quite a while.

If you can't get the info, shoot me a line and I start looking through all my saved installation papers for it.
