The bad thing I hate about the third gen, is it is so hard to do true duals. That is my main gripe, so would it be alot easier to do all this stuff to a c4 corvette?

i think it would depend just how much of the car you plan to change/upgrade.. often times all these upgrades end up costing more then a car that came with them would have, and if you ever decide to sell it your still not even going to get half of what you put into it.. its always more fun owning something custom though
just look at how many people have spent thousands of dollars loading there 3rd gen up with 4th gen parts, alot of them could have bought a 4th gen with all the money.. but your talking about way more expensive parts
i dunno about you but where i live, driving across town and seeing like 10 3rd gen camaros (and a few firebirds) along the way is normal, if I were going to spend all the money id probably go with a 1st gen and stand out a bit more, even those are plentiful, theres a couple 69 camaros for sale right on my way to work... anyways, just my thoughts

If I was in your situation I'd look for a really nice 3rd gen body/interior with maybe not drivetrain, or one in need of extreme repair, drive your 89 in the meantime, and do the new one up like you want it. When it comes to these cars the way I look at em is I'd rather have a mint condition body/interior thats never been smacked up with no drivetrain then a car with a rebuilt rear, trans, engine, and a ****ty body.. just my .02 though..
