Cam question
I have a question regarding cams.
I want to change my cam in the future but what to choose. I dont know anything about lift etc. I guess my engine has what some people call Peanut cam so i want a better one.
Can i change it whitout changing anything else in the engine?

Do you have a roller block? What heads?
If its a roller block, you can re-use the factroy roller lifters. New springs are advisable, however. With new springs comes new retainers and locks. Whats the budget like?

depends on what cam you get what you need to change. at a minumin you'd need to change cams, lifters (if flat, rollers could be reused) springs, and retainers. go to comp or lunati web site and you can read a lot of good info on cams.
