Yes the distributor should work, but the Corvette has the coil in cap type, while the 91 f-body has the coil separate. I doubt it'll be a problem, but you might have to leave the plastic cover off.

What Kevin and Rob said is correct, the only monumental difference is if you have to change the distributor gear, the 87-up F-body distributors has a .491" diameter shaft and the Y-body 87-91 distributor has a .500" diameter shaft. The only way I found this out, was the time I tried to buy an F-body MELLONIZED OEM roller cam distributor gear, and the dealer didn't have one, so I asked for the 87-91 Corvette MELLONIZEDgear. When I tried to install it, it was too large for the .49" shaft. So I returned it, and just went to another dealer for the right gear. HTH's
