Check Engine Code 23

Low temp @ manifold air temp sensor OR throttle position sensor error...what exactaly does it mean? And...what do I need to get to fix it? I was driving on the highway at 60MPH then the choke light came on, then the check engine came on.. I am unsure at this point. Any help?

Depending on what fuel system you have 23 can mean any of the following.

23 M/C solenoid fault (Carbureted)
23 MAT sensor Low temperature fault (EFI/TPI/SFI)
23 EST bypass circuit fault (Cadillac DFI)

Since you info says LG4 im going to say that the M/C(mixture control) solenoid in the carb has taken a vacation or there is a wiring/ECM problem.

On your car, code 23 means M/C Solenoid Voltage Low To ECM. Check this chart out and see if it helps any.

Welome to the board Richiehedd. On your car, code 23 means Intake Air Temp Sensor (IAT). Here is the trouble shooting chart for it.
