Car Wants to Stall When Turning
This is something that is really annoying me. A few months ago, I was having problems with my car wanting to stall at any given time. I had a new distributer put in because it was all but shot. I also had new plugs and wires put in. The problem went away until recently. When I take a corner sharply, the engine RPM's drop in mid turn and then when I straighten out, it takes a couple of seconds for the car to start running normal again. I am not sure whether this is engine related, transmission related, or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My engine is a 305 TPI and the tranny is a TH700-R4.
If anyone has had a similar experience, please share it and what you did to correct it. Thanks.

The first few things that come to mind are:
- Loss of fuel due to liquid slosh in the tank taking fuel away from the pickup;
- Wiring that is swaying due to G-forces, possibly breaking connection or grounding. Look at the ignition system, injector harness, and ECM wiring;
- A part of the ignition system moving from G-forces, such as a coil, ESC module, or distributor shaft/rotor, or ECM itself.

I have plenty of gas in the tank
Vader, all the wiring seems to be in good shape. Could it be that my fuel pump could be going bad? How exactly can I fix parts that could be moving with changes in G-forces? Everything seems to be bolted down well.
I am at a loss.
Also, there is no whining noise coming from the power steering, but it does seem like the electricals do lose power for a second, but I think that is because all the power is being used to keep the car from stalling.

Stekman, the voltage drops whether I make a left or right turn sharply. The gauge drops to almost nothing. It was doing the same thing before I replaced the distributer and seemed to stop before recently. It is an remanufactured distributer, should I consider getting an aftermarket one?
