Are they hard to replace? I am told that my intake is clogged as well and wondering if they are hard to take off as well? My car wont pass emissions the way it is now.

I am 99.9999% sure that he has the q-jet. I remember his other thread about wanting an intake that was compatable with the Q-jet and had EGR provisions.
*Edit* Make that 100% sure.

Just tell the parts store what engine you have, they'll get the P/N.
FWIW, the EGR passages in my stock 140k manifold were completely plugged, I found when removing to fix a leaking gasket situation. I just replaced the intake when putting it back together (retained the intake when the mods in the sig were done), but a part-throttle pinging problem disappeared when the EGR was actually working again.

Removing and reinstalling the intake is "involved", but not particularly hard. You'll need a timing light to set the timing when you put it back together.
