i cant take this anymore

Well im hoping that my plethora of problems is being caused by my alternator. So this morning i go to take the alternator off and take it to have it checked out. Well wouldnt ya know it the bottom bolt on the alternator is completly stripped it was a torques bolt at one point. I have no idea how im going to get that out

to the first reply, there is no way there is going to be enough space to drill it out unless i pull out the radiator and i dont even want to think about that.

And as far as vice grips i tried, but its a torques bolt so the head of it is like half of a sphere, so they wont grab onto it, and i doubt you could get it to budge with those even if you did get em locked on, which you cant.

take to someone with a welder
find an old socket that you dont need anymore
get it welded on to the head of the bolt and turn her out then go buy a new bolt

Well, another alternative is to take a file and file two sides flat and put an adjustable wrench on it. Just a thought!!!!!!

Ya but the reason im trying to take my alt off is because my car is completly fuxored so my car wont even make it down the street.

And the file idea at this point seems like my best option
