How does this setup sound, and what amount of power might I be at?

355ci
Sealed Power Flat Top Pistons, 4-relief, 9.72:1 compression
Vortec Heads, 64cc, 1.94"intake, 1.50" exhaust
Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake
Crane PowerMax Roller Cam, 214/222, .488/.509
Holley Street Avenger 670cfm Carb
Headers, 1-5/8 primaries, 2-1/2 collectors
3" Mandrel Bent exhaust, Flowmaster 40 Series muffler
Edelbrock Performer Nitrous System, 100 shot

Please give any suggestions on changes...

Sounds like a pretty good setup to me. I think youll probably make around 400hp maybe a little less with out the nitrous. It really sounds like a good all around high powered streetable setup. Now go put it together and let us know what it does

You think 400hp with the No2? So like 300hp w/o the No2?

What could I do to get around 350hp w/o the No2? Also, forgot to mention the heads will be ported.

No 400hp with out it, you will defenetly pull at least 375hp probably more. I have a friend that is running that same exact setup in an old malibu except he has 9:5:1 compression and he is running a cam with alot a little less lift than yours but a little more duration. I think the specs are .477/.480 lift and 224/230 duration at .050. And he made 375hp and a little over 400 tq. Since you have a roller cam with a little bit better specs I would expect that you have at least 10 more hp than him so I say your probably making just under 400hp without the nitrous.

Oh and another thing, Are those vortec heads modified to handle the extra lift. If not I suggest getting a set from SDPC2000.com. They have have a set that can handle .550 lift. They also have kits that come with rockers, gaskets, inake, bolts, etc. Basically just everything you need to do the vortec head swap. You could also pick up a little more power if you went with the performer RPM airgap intake, but youll need a cowl hood probably. Good Luck.

Yes, the heads can handle the extra lift. I didnt think Edelbrock made an Air Gap Intake for the Vortec heads yet? Cuz the Air Gap is actually the intake I want, so if they do have it in the Vortec style, I am getting it

Check out the SDPC kit if you havent bought the heads yet they have an RPM air gap kit that has everything you need that I think is just little over $1000. Its a great deal.
