Ignition Module Issue..

Stock one, and aftermarket Distributor rebuild one. Anyone know where I can get the wiring harness to fit the new ignition module?

They make 4 pin, 7 pin and 8 pin modules. Get the right one for your car. Accel and Pertronix make the whole line of GM HEI modules. You need the 7 pin, accept no substitutes.
Anybody try an Accel or Pertronix 8 pin module in your external coil distributor?

The 4-pin one is for non-computer distributors, the 7- & 8-pin ones are for computerized ones.
A rebuilder would put the one that goes with the application, on that basis. I.e., a 4-pin in a dist with centrifugal and vacuum advance; a 7-or 8-pin one in a computer dist with neither of those things (both of those features being under the control of the ECM).
What are you putting this in?

1986 T/A with a 4bbl 305. Original one is 7 pin, so that's what I need apparently. The 305 is getting swapped out for a 350 as well, just overhauling everything else at the same time.

So what distributor is it? Does it have centrifugal and vacuum advance, like it should if it has a 4-pin module? If so, and you plan on keeping the computer, it won't work right; you'll end up with about 70° of advance sometimes.

Yo 86, please let us know how that Accel module works out for you. My car uses the 8 pin module, and I'm thinking about upgrading to an aftermarket unit, and an MSD coil at the same time. That should solve some of the HEI issues without having to install an MSD6 or something like that.
