weird sound???

weird sound???
hey guys i have this weird sound coming from my engine everytime i put a load on it. its like a bearing sound. rattaling thing. i think it may be my water pump or AC compressor??? its really bothering my now. seems to get worse!!!

it sounds like spark nock to me... try putting 93 octane gas in it and see if that helps if it does then you are just experiencing spark nock.... your timing may be off a bit

Its very hard to diagnose a noise problem without actually hearing it.. Try taking it somewhere..

yeah sounds like detonation, preignition, knock whatever you wanna call it, if that is in fact what it is the most likely causes are not enough octane, overadvanced timing, or carbon buildup.

so you guys think its a knock. if it was wouldnt my check engine light come on???? ill try to 93 octane with some more octane from autozone.lol i never would of thought of that. i thought for sure it was a bearing. cheap gas!!!!!lol

yeah being it only does it when the engine has a load on it.... it maks me think its justspark nock. try the higher octane gas and see what happens. if that helps check your nock sensor or your timeing may be off depending on what engine you have man.

i havent put any higher octan in it yet cause i go to school on the weekday and i dont put gas till friday. so i think today or tomorrow i will put some high octan and octan booster. and then when i get home i will check my timing. how do you check your knock sensor???? if i drive like that for too long will it mess anything up??? thanks guys for the help!!!!

hey thanks alot guys that was the problem. i went to autozone and got some gas treatment and 104octan stuff and went to 76gas station and put the highest one in my car and in about 20 minutes or less my car was running alot better.. THANK YOU GUYS YOU SAVED MY LIFE!!!!!! i thought it was much worse than that. no more cheap gas!!!:lala:
