slp runner gains over stock?
what kind of gains can i expect with the slp runners over stock runners? thanks
Lower numbers unless you port match everything correctly and clean up any left over casting material...
Once you do all that I'd say about 5HP to be realistic with just those alone.
The idea is that you will breathe better with other mods and you will gain more with the other mods than you would alone because you have those runners...

A hi flow baseplate should accompany those runners. There are some nice dyno charts in TPISs books that show what different mods like that do for you, one step at a time, but just like all the TPIS stuff the books are pricey.
With big runners and a baseplate, the right cam, and heads a TPI 350 can get close to 400hp (they say)

You keep the plenum. That's what that center part is called.
AFAIK all those A/M base/runner setups use the original plenum, you should port it tho.

By your sig, I would suggest you change to about 3:55 rear gears from your 2.77's. You will see a much greater improvement in performance with that than a manifold and runners on a basically stock engine.

would it be better to go SLP runners/baseplate or get a superram?
and as for the gears, sure, tell me where to get 3.45's for my ausie 9bolt rearend, and id be more then happy to purchase it.

Hey travis, have you had any work done at hinds machine shop?I'm going to have him build my engine.I had him do some heads awhile back but not the full motor.I would go with the super ram, that's what I'm going with. You'll get higher rpms out of it.I want to stay cali legal too. They're talking about going byannual for smog here. That would take a long time to pass though.

Take another look, you'll see what I mean.
