Valve seals, spring compressor?

Been dreading this job for several months. Can't put it off any longer. Question is can I use the lever type compressor on the tuned port? This is the tool that looks like a nail puller. Will it clear the port runners when I put it on the stud? Is there a better tool for reasonable money? Thanks.

i dont have tuned port, but i did mine with summits lever one.... and i didnt have to angle the lever toward the intake, so i assume it'll clear for the TPI.

btw, if you're using positive seals, do yourself a favor and buy the seal install tool. or make one on a lathe.

the two make the job easy.
