Is this a joke?
I could understand having a hard time locating it on some forien cars, But seriously its located at the frount top of the manifold the upper radiator hose is conected to a housing with two bolts in it. Its in between the housing and the manifold so unbolt the housing and there it is. If you need to change it make sure the spring side goes down into the manifold and ther ^ shaped side faces up.

Under the thermostat housing. Don't check it, replace it. It's a cheap part that is very important.

Super, I just wanted to clarify that I wasnt trying to flame or be rude. I just think alot of people shy away from the simple questions that they are afraid to ask for fear of someone ridiculing them. THEN, after failing to ask and then attempting a job with little to no knowledge is when the damage really occurs.
When I bought my IROC-Z 8 years ago, I wasnt even a "car" person. I just liked the way it looked. I couldnt even change my own oil. My dad had to show me. Now, 8 years later and too many mods that have made me broke, I am thankful to my shop manual and this board that i can attack and solve 99% of my problems.
Again, no flames intended.
