Guys I have a small engine leak and as far as I understand its from the rear engine seal since I dont want to pay lots to get the seal changed I am asking what is the best solution, addative to the engine oil to stop this leak.

replacing the seal is very easy and the only way to stop the leak. Just drop the trans, yank out the old seal and slap the new one in.

Crane? Weee don't need no steeenkin' cranes!

Anyways, the transmission is basically just bolted on. Basic tools will get one off. To support it, the ground works. Of if you want, put some wood blocks under it, or an old book.

I suggest you put a jack under it and snug the jack down securly on the tranny, almost to the point of lifting the tranny off it's mounts some. That way when you get the final bolts off you won't drop a tranny on your head. Don't like seeing thirdgenners in the Darwin Awards.
